• Can I buy any of the services separately to my map

  No. The services come only as a pre-determined bundle and are available to use for the duration of the warrenty period for the vehicle.

• Is there a guide I can follow for connecting my vehicle?

  Yes. You can refer to a step by step guide.

• How do I install the map onto my navigation system?

  Yes. Please take a look at the step by step guide.

• Can I install more than one map/service at a time onto my navigation system?

  No. Only one regional map can be installed onto your navigation system at a time.

• When I installed my map it deleted the map I already had on my navigation system.

  This is normal. Only one regional map can be installed onto your navigation system at a time. Should you want to resume using your previous map, it will need to be reinstalled. This can be done by visiting My Account>Downloads, selecting the map, download it onto your USB and reinstalling it on your navigation system.

• Can I buy a map for a different region to what is installed in my navigation system?

  Yes. You can purchase a different region, download and install it on your InControl Pro navigation system. However, this will overwrite the existing map currently resisding on your navigaiton system. Should you want to resume using that map at any tmie, it will need to be reinstalled. This can be done by visiting My Account>Downloads, selecting the map, download it onto your USB and reinstalling it on your navigation system.

• Why is a previous version I've Downloaded no longer showing?

  To download a map, you must first Add a vehicle to your account. If you have perviously purchased a map for a vehicle that is no longer associated with your account, you can add the vehicle to your account again to access the available downloads.

• How do I check my available Map Downloads?

  All Maps available for the vehicle you are logged into with your InControl Navigation Account, can be found in MyAccount>Downloads

• Can I save a credit card to my account?

  No. Your payment details will be collected for each individual purchase you make.

• How do I check my Purchase History?

  To see a complete record of the maps you have purchased, please visit My Account> Purchase History.

• How do I know if I have the latest map on my InControl Pro navigation system?

  The version of the map is shown in the Product description. To find out if you are running the latest version of this map, enter the settings menu of your InControl Pro Navigation System, scroll down to the 'About' section and select 'Installed maps'. See the map version listed.

• How can I report an inaccuracy in the map?

  Our Map provider HERE make every effort to provide maps that are an accurate, up-to-date reflection of your world. Teams of geographic analysts use highly advanced technology to continually collect and verify changes to thousands of the worlds roads, providing the map on your device or system is fresh, accurate and highly detailed. If your navigation system map displays a discrepancy, please use use HERE's Map Creator program to notify them.

• Do I have to pay local taxes?

  Prices are inclusive of tax. Local VAT (Value Added Tax) rates will be charged for orders shipping to Germany, Belgium, France, United Kingdom, Italy and Spain. All other orders shipping within the EU will be charged at the VAT rate of The Netherlands.

• Can I buy maps for more than once vehicle at a time?

  Yes. If you have more than one vehicle in your profile, select the vehicle you want to buy a map for from the header and add the products to basket.

• How do I purchase a map?

  It's quick and easy to purchase a map. Simply find the product you would like to buy and click on the 'add to basket' button. Once your basket holds everything you would like to order, click on 'checkout' to enter your payment details.

• Can I only purchase maps and services for my vehicle?

  You can purchase maps and services for any vehicle for which you have signed into the InControl Pro navigation system.

• How do I make a complaint?

• How do I amend my order?

• How can I check my service package subscription has worked?

  Renewing your Connected Services Bundle is automatically triggered in your vehicle. You must have an active Data Plan and SIM inserted to benefit from these services.

• How do I know if I have MapCare?

  Click on the Maps & Services page for your vehicle and check if MapCare is mentioned in the product list.

• How often are map updates released?

  Map updates are available 4 times a year.

• What is MapCare?

  MapCare entitles you to download the most available version of the map for a set period of time. Maps are released four times a year.

• How do I get a refund on a map purchase?

  Download products are not entitled for refund. Please Please contact us for more information.

• Can I use the map I purchased on multiple vehicles I own?

  No. The map can only be used on the vehicle it is purchased for. This is determined by the VIN.

• Can I save the downloaded map locally on my computer until I need it?

  No. The map can only be downloaded onto a USB3.0.

• Can I use a tablet or mobile phone to download the map?

  No. Downloading maps requires the installation of the InControl Pro Map Download Tool that cannot be installed onto a mobile device.

• Is download the only option, can I have this product shipped to me?

  No. Maps are only available for download.

• How much will it cost for me to download a map product?

  This depends on the size of the map and your internet provider charges.

• What is a USB 3.0?

  USB 3.0 is the third major version of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) standard for interfacing computers and electronic devices. Among other improvements, USB 3.0 adds the new transfer mode SuperSpeed (SS) that can transfer data at up to 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s), which is more than ten times faster than the USB 2.0 standard.

• I've bought a map, but I didn't download it straight away, what do I do?

  Purchased maps can be found in the 'Downloads' section of My Account.

• How secure are my payment details?/ How secure is my transaction?

  We realise how important it is to keep secure any information that you provide. Our site uses high-level SSL encryption technology, provided by Thwate for online transactions.

• Why do I need to buy a map update?

  In your neighborhood and around the world, roads, streets and highways are constantly changing. HERE's regular updates include critical, fresh details about the road network. With a new map update you can know that you have the latest information available for your InControl Touch Pro navigation system, providing you with more-accurate routing and a more enjoyable navigation experience.
